Copy Patient from another practice. For those users who has several mapped Practices to the account, now can copy patients from another Practices instead of inserting same information again. Monday 5, 2021 iSmart's EHR updates are released over a past month. Multi-Factor Authentication 01. New User setup: Now users are sent a time-based one-time passcode (TOPT) via SMS message or email. 2FA is a service to give you an extra layer of security that works in conjunction with the username and password by adding a second security code to your login verification that only you can access. Use your work (or personal) email account to request and get your security code. You can also get this code by requesting via SMS code through mobile device. This is available if cellphone number added to the EHR user settings. After logging into your EHR account, you should choose pick your delivery method: by Phone number or by Email address and private or shared computer, click on Send and enter 4 digit code that you have received. Now your account has been verified.  02. Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. 03. Administration - Practice by default: Users who have several linked Practices are able to choose default Practice. Please contact IT Department for assistance. Updated feature: Superbill Create a new or updating Superbill that include HCPCS codes starting with J, now requires obligatory submission of NDC (National Drug Code), Quantity and Unit measure. These codes are used to facilitate the processing of health insurance claims by Medicare and other insurers. Please be notify that now you should provide us with all required fields when you are submitting J code. This is one time set up, once you have inserted * required fields, the system automatically saves NDC, Quantity and Unit measure on subsequent sending Superbills. All information may be corrected if needed.  |

In order to speed up the search in the system, all Billing Information will be available for the past 2 years, including Checks, Checks Search, Checks to Pay, Claims, Request Response, Patient Responsibilities Collection pages. To see the full billing information, please uncheck - Exclude claims created more than 2 years.  Updated features: Patient Responsibilities Collection We added ability to create patient Invoice for Claims that were recouped.  To add recoupment amount click on View claim details  and open Charge self-pay patient form.  Insert Amount and charge reason. Click on Save. Charge amount has been added to Ledger, now you are able to create and print Invoice.  EHR Templates: AutoSaving, Horizontal view & Summary. AutoSave is a new feature available for iSmart Chart Records. All information you enter are saves automatically as you work.  |

Updated features: Superbill validations Superbill NCC Validations will validate all the data elements on the Superbill before submission. Our system internally validates Superbill according pre-defined rules built on Insurance plan specific requirements. If Superbill is not meeting the requirements the system report validation message for correction before submitting. This reduce the chance of rejected and denied claims. All validations are pre setup according Practice specific, some of them required correction, some can be submitted for processing without. Eligibility We added ability to check Eligibility Insurance benefits for accounts with Front desk and supportive staff permission.  |

Users now can add Patient Authorization number for procedures.  02. Fee Schedule. Users now can add a complete listing of fees used by Medicare or other insurances to Superbill procedure code for reimbursement purposes.  03. New CPT/HCPCS codes, diagnosis and modifiers were added for Superbills. Bugs fixed: 01. Attachment message for Request Response service. Users can see which file was attached and sent on Claim message. 02. Claim diagnosis details. Claim Diagnosis lines that were without pointers are fixed now. 03. Time out Session for Chart Records has been extended. 04. Add Chart Record for Appointment visit. New Feature: Physician Month Fee. Only for Package "A" full time Users. New automatic system of charging for using the program was implemented to the EHR. Every month users with "Package A" will receive Notification email with Invoice number and Physician month Fee. During 10 ten days you will be able to pay online through Administration Ledger Panel or pay any other way, after this period in case if you have positive Balance the system will limit your access for using the program. Users with "Restricted Access" will be permitted to view or edit previous Chart Records and Appointments.

Top payers by paid amount (Displays the most profitable insurances to work with). Top procedures codes with greater payment (Displays the most billable CPT codes with highest payment). Volume of patient visits by Location (Displays the total number of patient visits).  Category Payment Report Billing - Claims Users can create their Category Report in Visit codes and categories section. Report can include several procedures that doctor used over a last 3 months. Thursday, October 4, 2019 New Feature Patient Billing - Creating Invoice This new feature is designed to allow users to have better abilities to create and send Invoice for patients and insert their payments to Patient Ledger. This function will help you to organize these claims fee. There are lot of filters for searching, which is making easier for user to find the claims that they need to create an Invoice for. EHR users also have the option to select multiply different claims for the same patient at once in order to automatically create Patient Bills for these claims. It will help you to save your time and monitoring all Patients Bills on the one page. For the convenience of our users we developed Patient Ledger that is always shows the current balance of Invoice. You may see a number of different color signs on the new system. Red means that payment for the check was inserted incorrectly. Green means that Patient Bill was paid in full. Yellow means that payment for this Invoice was partially inserted. We create a special accounts for Referring Physicians and now they are able to check all payments. "Compare Paid Amount" New EHR Compare Paid Amounts is inserted into Billing Info Module. Searching by Date of Service you can track and monitor payments for every Insurance depending on Procedures. You will see the difference between Insurance fee schedule (Approved Amount) and what they totally paid. Based on this report, you can track all amounts that insurance has paid less. "Request/Response email notification" Every Monday morning, you will receive email that will remind you of how many billing requests you have, so you always get kindly reminder that you should provide Billing Departments with requested information without delay. Updated Features "Request/Response Messaging" As you know when claims are marked as "C-" are blocked from commenting. For the convenience of our users we made 3 Closed Claim Statuses available for messaging. Monday, August 26,2019 New Billing Request/Response Feature We are so excited to announce that iSmart EHR became an interactive system which now has a secure, easy and fast way to deal with claim requests. The system is available 24/7. Dedicated Account representatives will now see responses immediately submitted by provider. The new process was designed to simplify the process of billing requests and as a result, expedite the claims processing and reimbursement. Ismart EHR Help System will show you how to work with Request/Response page. Billing - Invoices Feature In the Billing Menu you can find new option for working with Invoices. There are two fields available for searching: Date range and Invoice #. Invoice Information include Invoice number, Date, New charges, Previous Balance, Amount Due, Billable Amount, Conv. Fee, Pmbos Fee, EHR Fee, Dr. First Fee, Newsletter Fee, Credentialing, and additional Notes. All detailed Information is available in Invoice details. Received Checks EHR added new option for working with received checks. Now you can mark the checks you have already worked with. Updated Features Patient panel (PHR) updates. Patients and caregivers with access to a Patient Panel account will see that messages panel were updated. Patients who are enrolled in PHR and connected to your practice will now be able to reply to messages from their PHR pages to their doctors directly though PHR message system. Users can now open the claim and in the bottom field to write any question or indication regarding this claim or send attachment (only pdf files), which will be available in the Claim Images tab. If Online billing info users will receive a message from the biller they can find them through Notifications - Billing Requests or by going to Billing-Claims, check the "Billing Requests only" checkbox and click on Show. |
