Patient Billing - Creating Invoice
This new feature is designed to allow users to have better abilities to create and send Invoice for patients and insert their payments to Patient Ledger. This function will help you to organize these claims fee. There are lot of filters for searching, which is making easier for user to find the claims that they need to create an Invoice for. EHR users also have the option to select multiply different claims for the same patient at once in order to automatically create Patient Bills for these claims. It will help you to save your time and monitoring all Patients Bills on the one page. For the convenience of our users we developed Patient Ledger that is always shows the current balance of Invoice. You may see a number of different color signs on the new system. Red means that payment for the check was inserted incorrectly. Green means that Patient Bill was paid in full. Yellow means that payment for this Invoice was partially inserted. "Access for Referring Providers"
We offer a unique opportunity for Referring providers to track the checks. We create a special accounts for Referring Physicians and now they are able to check all payments.
"Compare Paid Amount"
New EHR Compare Paid Amounts is inserted into Billing Info Module.
Searching by Date of Service you can track and monitor payments for every Insurance depending on Procedures. You will see the difference between Insurance fee schedule (Approved Amount) and what they totally paid. Based on this report, you can track all amounts that insurance has paid less.
"Request/Response email notification"
Every Monday morning, you will receive email that will remind you of how many billing requests you have, so you always get kindly reminder that you should provide Billing Departments with requested information without delay.
As you know when claims are marked as "C-" are blocked from commenting. For the convenience of our users we made 3 Closed Claim Statuses available for messaging.

New Billing Request/Response Feature
We are so excited to announce that iSmart EHR became an interactive system which now has a secure, easy and fast way to deal with claim requests. The system is available 24/7.
Dedicated Account representatives will now see responses immediately submitted by provider. The new process was designed to simplify the process of billing requests and as a result, expedite the claims processing and reimbursement.
Ismart EHR Help System will show you how to work with Request/Response page.
Billing - Invoices Feature
In the Billing Menu you can find new option for working with Invoices. There are two fields available for searching: Date range and Invoice #. Invoice Information include Invoice number, Date, New charges, Previous Balance, Amount Due, Billable Amount, Conv. Fee, Pmbos Fee, EHR Fee, Dr. First Fee, Newsletter Fee, Credentialing, and additional Notes. All detailed Information is available in Invoice details.
EHR added new option for working with received checks. Now you can mark the checks you have already worked with.
Patient panel (PHR) updates.
Patients and caregivers with access to a Patient Panel account will see that messages panel were updated. Patients who are enrolled in PHR and connected to your practice will now be able to reply to messages from their PHR pages to their doctors directly though PHR message system. Patient also may sent appointment request and doctor will be immediately notified.

1) ISmart EHR has added the ability to send and receive a messages about any claims directly to the billing department.
Users can now open the claim and in the bottom field to write any question or indication regarding this claim or send attachment (only pdf files), which will be available in the Claim Images tab.
If Online billing info users will receive a message from the biller they can find them through Notifications - Billing Requests or by going to Billing-Claims, check the "Billing Requests only" checkbox and click on Show.
