Electronic superbill in iSmart EHR

The e-superbill is a free feature incorporated into iSmart EHR. This is a form where users can select which procedures and problems apply to the services that were rendered to the patient. Electronic superbill replaces an old-fashioned and requiring more time paper superbill forms with efficient, electronic and easy-to-use functionality.

The superbill page has been under usability testing and as the result it has clear and intuitive interface.

The page can be customized to hide several fields such as referring, ordering or attending provider. Upon a patient visit completion, the provider has to start with hitting one button only to display the superbill page with procedures and diagnosis entered during the patient visit. Additional procedures and diagnoses can be added to the superbill directly on the page. Users can find and select both procedures and diagnoses from the specialty based high usage list. Users can also make notes and eventually submit the electronic superbill to make it seen in billing department.
